Olumuyiwa J. Oshin – Managing Director/CEO
Muyiwa is a thorough bred finance professional with sound industry knowledge and a remarkable depth of transaction experience. His investment banking experience spans over 20 years encompassing stockbroking, treasury operations, commercial banking, marketing, credit & accounts as well as the capital markets.
Before founding Unicorn Capital, Muyiwa was an Executive Director at Kedari Capital where he oversaw the corporate finance & advisory business unit. Prior to Kedari, he started his financial services career at Interstate Securities Limited where he cut his teeth in stockbroking and treasury operations. He furthered his career at First Atlantic Bank (later Finbank and now merged into FCMB) where he was a key member of the Investment Banking team that was instrumental in the execution of a lot of the privatisation advisory transactions of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE). He thereafter joined the founding team of the Investment Banking Unit of Magnum Trust Bank. Following the merger of Magnum Trust Bank into Sterling Bank Plc, He was deployed along with others to form Sterling Capital Limited as the investment banking arm of the Bank. At Sterling Capital, Muyiwa was an integral member of the Corporate finance team that executed various M&A transactions and capital issues during the 2006/8 consolidation exercise in the Nigerian banking and insurance sectors.
He has also been involved in various PPP and infrastructure projects including power sector privatization, airport concessions, hospitality & real estate, and the establishment of industrial parks.
Adeboye Idowu – Director
Adeboye Idowu is the co-founder of Arche Energy Development Limited a company established to develop a 100MW photovoltaic power plant in Nigeria.
Adeboye Idowu has led several transactions in various industries with deal experiences cutting across Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Cameroun. Having worked on project finance related deals from the construction of a multipurpose terminal in Nigeria to a land reclamation project to create an island in Lagos, to the acquisition of power assets and the construction of power and refinery plants in Nigeria. He has worked in consulting on mandates with various banks in Nigeria inclusive of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He led an investment team in a top tier Insurance company with Asset Under Management of over N20 billion.
Before establishing Arche Energy, Adeboye Idowu was Team Lead at Kedari Capital where he spent four years in the corporate finance and financial advisory unit.
Adeboye Idowu is a graduate of University of Lagos in Insurance, wining a prize as the best graduating student of his class. He is also a qualified accountant passing all levels of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he is also a Level 3 Candidate of the Chartered Financial Analyst (USA) program.
Abraham Durosawo – Director
Abraham Durosawo is a veteran financial analyst and financial model expert. He previously worked at Kedari Capital, a boutique investment banking firm, managing at different times the Investment Research Unit, Funds Management, Credit Management & Administration in addition to his Corporate Finance and Advisory role.
Prior to this engagement, he worked with the Operational & Commercial Services Department of Lekki Concession Company, the first successful private funded PPP toll road infrastructure project in Sub Saharan Africa (outside of South Africa). He was responsible for strategic decision analysis, business analysis, project management, administration and corporate communication. He was also responsible for liaison with the media houses, executive management and at some point, executed a landmark CSR initiative for Eti-Osa community on behalf of the company. He is a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and had his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics.
